How do people who state that life cannot become more complex, explain single cell life becoming multicellular?

Why to seek knowledge unless it be of illegal immigrants, tonight's TV on Fox Channel or the glorious heroes of the pentagon failing to defeat a few hundred towel heads is almost UN AMERICAN!!!
